Members of the Ray Of Hope Church Council are:

Lisa Frost (1/18), Veronica Floyd (1/17), April Struhm (1/18),

 Br. Shawn F. Benedict (Appointed Pastor)

 

PRAYER

 

OPENING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF MEMBERSHIP QUORUM

As of this meeting, there are 17 members eligible to vote.  According to the by-laws, a quorum for the Congregational Meeting is 25%, therefore 5 members must be present

 

Quorum established with    9 of  17 total members present.

 

AGENDA REVIEW & APPROVAL

 

Motion to approve agenda:   April Struhm                        Second:  Robb Bacon

Vote:8 in favor 0 opposed 0 abstain    Motion passed

           

REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF CONGREGATIONAL MEETING MINUTES

 

Motion to approve minutes of 1/31/2016 Annual Meeting:        Michael Christian

second:  April Struhm

Vote:   8 in favor 0 opposed 0 abstain  

 

OLD BUSINESS: (None)

 
NEW BUSINESS:

 

  1. The Council moves to hold the elections to fill Council seats, with persons elected serving as Council Members-elect until the 2017 Annual Meeting date. Nominees are:  Veronica Floyd and Christina Benedict  Second: Lisa Frost

     

            Vote:8 in favor 0 opposed  0 abstain  

 

N.B. Veronica Floyd was re-elected to the Council with a majority of member votes

            Christina Benedict did not receive a majority of member votes

 

COMMENTS/REMARKS FROM THOSE IN ATTENDANCE  

  Robb   Bacon commented that we are lucky to have Council members willing to do double duty.                                

REMARKS FROM COUNCIL MEMBERS

Lisa Frost thank all who are attending and showing an interest in ROH.  Veronica is thankful for improved technology and people who are all helping with time and talents.
