As of February 27, 2016 we are finally able to edit our web site after many years.  Our goal is for this web site to be our communication and ministry   portal.  Pages to be published in the future include: the Sunday Bulletin, The Council Of Ray Of Hope - which will have monthly agendas, minutes and financial reports, a Library page featuring lists and samples of our over 6,000 holdings, Founders / Foundresses Page, LGBTQIS his/herstory, a photo album of the making of the Elmira chapel, many new links for resources.

We are rebuilding our web site with new information and a new all devices friendly format.

The chapel, is now ACCESSIBLE to the "differently abled" with a commercial grade
elevator in front of the building, pictured here.

Check back often to read new content on our web site.

Dear Friends and Members of the Body Of Christ and His Church,

This Sunday, August 5, 2018 we will continue in our five week series on Jesus, the Bread Of Life and the Cup Of Salvation.  This is week two of five weeks.  Consider that Advent has four weeks and see this series has five.  What is pointed out here is this is an important Doctrine for us to understand.  In this Dispensation of the Church of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour, we have a gift no other dispensation has seen.  Yes, the People of Israel received bread from heaven and the quail meat as God sustained them in the desert.  Indeed, this is the subject of the first Reading (Exodus 16:2-4 and 12-15).  The psalm of the day, Psalm 78 celebrates "He commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven; He rained manna upon them for food and gave them heavenly bread."  Jesus acknowledges all of that but then Jesus gives the true bread from Heaven as gift of Himself for His Church for this dispensation.  No greater bread has ever been known, no greater cup than the cup of His blood and the food of His flesh which he says are both true food and drink.  Jesus gives us the True Bread that is from Heaven and fills it with His own very real presence so that whoever eats this Bread and drinks this Cup has the gift of eternal salvation.  How can Jesus make such claims you ask.  Jesus made it clear that all authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to Him as stated n the Gospel of Matthew 28:19-20.  He has the authority to give us the Blessed Sacrament, the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation. This is the Sacrament that bears the title the Blessed Sacrament to show our honor for this great Gift.    Now, consider this was done "before the foundation of the world" and understand why we come together in public worship: to give God thanks and praise for what God has willed for our eternal existence.  You were in the Divine Presence, in the Mind of God from ancient time and God planned the unique and beautiful contribution your life would add to this Universe.

This Sunday we shall consider why this Doctrine (an unchangeable Truth revealed in Sacred Scripture) is critical and wonderful for the LGBTQIS Christian.

Join us for worship and enjoy the POWER OF PARTICIPATION, a phrase that came to me in prayer during Pride month.  We are called together to give God thanks and praise.  CHURCH MEANS GROUP TOGETHER.  Jesus designed His Church to be in this Age, this Dispensation as HIS PEOPLE, HIS GROUP, HIS PEERS, to do this work together.  FEEL THE POWER OF PARTICIPATION  this Sunday August 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM, live in the chapel or live on line through Skype.
Reserve this time for HIM.

+ Ray Of Hope Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ is Christ-centered in all of its teachings, and therefore does not ascribe to the dogmas, teachings, or practices of any denomination, or para-church organization of the Christian Church. Rather, we maintain an autonomous freedom to draw from the two millennia of immense riches known in all denominations of Christianity. Ray Of Hope Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ is an "independent" local Church. This does not mean we stand alone, as though on pride or arrogance, rather we seek to share an interdependence with other assemblies and fellowships of believers who endeavor equally as hard as we do to bring the Gospel to all people.  (Ray Of Hope Church Statement Of Faith)
