When we launched our original web site in the middle of the 1990's public life was very different for GLBTQIS persons than today in 2016. The changes are immeasurable, even for the professionals who monitor social change. Most of the change has been very or somewhat positive; some has been disappointing or even shockingly wrong. Overall, most people in the U. S. A. would argue things have improved.
One of the areas of massive improvement is access to resources and information on the Internet. Our list of resources in the 1990's were all highly valued as hard to find web sites that were considered groundbreaking in scope. Today, the number of favorable resource sites for both secular and religious information of interest to our community are in the thousands. Most people are very comfortable with searching the Internet for information today.
Having said all this, we still want to make note of some particular resources to help make your search easier. Our resources are divided into three groups;
