Ray Of Hope Church offers a unique professional Ministry Training Program. Our
program is set up as a home-based seminary with frequent colloquium sessions
and a mentoring system. The cost of the program is the cost of the
materials. There is no tuition
charged. The single most important
requirement is the Candidate must be able to read and comprehend the materials
and be able to write reaction papers and essays, and take written and oral on the material. The
Candidate must be able to thrive in a self motivated individual study program
that is college level work.
This is one of the finest opportunities for a first rate seminary education without the overhead costs of a university. This is a radical concept in the 21st century high cost education market we are used to. The other radical aspect is persons of all genders, all races, all sexual orientations, all social classes, and all citizenships are welcome to enter this program. Candidates can even participate in this program via Skype and the Internet. Persons preparing for professional ministry work at their own pace in a course of study and set field experience inventory that is designed individually. "Vocational Ministry Candidates" may choose to pursue a professional degree at a seminary or theology school that is agreeable to the Candidate and to Ray Of Hope Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ. However, a professional degree is not required, nor does having one entitle a person to a professional Ministry License and/or Ordination. Each "Vocational Ministry Training Candidate" determines the rate of progress and depth of involvement that will work in their particular life circumstances. The very earliest one should expect to receive a "License To Professional Ministry" is usually four years of successful participation in the Ray Of Hope Church Vocational Ministry Training Program.
On October 15, 2000 we added a reading seminar list of materials our Candidates
will be tested in. The required reading materials are individually designed to
fit the specific individualized training program for each Candidate. You will find these materials on pages three
and four.
To get a complete introduction to our program be sure to view all four pages of
this section of our website. There are links to each page at the left side
navigation bar of each of the five pages you are viewing on the Vocational
Ministry Training Program.
