ARTICLE 1 NAME & PURPOSE
1.01 Name.
The legal name of this New York Not-for-Profit Corporation is Ray Of Hope
Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. It may be referred to as "Ray Of
Hope Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ." and its purpose is stated in its
Certificate of Incorporation, as amended from time to time.
ARTICLE 2 ORGANIZATION
2.01 Legal Status.
This is a New York Not-for-Profit Corporation. It is governed by action of a
duly elected Church Council that functions in accordance with the terms of
these By-laws, all subject to the statutory requirements set out in the Laws of
the State of New York.
2.02 Terms.
The term Membership, as herein used, means the Members of Ray Of Hope Church Of
Our Lord Jesus Christ, hereinafter defined. The terms "Church,"
"Ray Of Hope," and "Ray Of Hope Church" refer to Ray Of
Hope Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc.
2.03For the purpose of all official correspondence with the Secretary of State
of New York, the Moderator shall be the corporate President, the Clerk shall be
the corporate Secretary, and the Council shall be the corporate Board of
Directors.
